Miley Cyrus in Bob Mackie designs!
It's no surprise then that Miley Cyrus is following suit!!
The twerking pop star has asked her closest friend in the business, Marc
Jacobs, whose brand she is now the face of, Jeremy Scott, The Blonds
and Bob Mackie (my former boss) to each outfit a section of her forthcoming Bangerz world
tour, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Mini Cher! Miley Cyrus is channeling '70s Iconic Cher in a Bob Mackie-influenced design as part of her Bangerz tour. Despite being heavily bad-mouthed by the legendnary Pop Queen, for her raunchy MTV VMAs performance back in September, Cyrus paid
homage to the icon as she zipped down a giant tongue slide for her show
entrance.
The 21-year-old's ensemble is remarkably similar to the
Mackie-designed costume worn by the "Woman's World" singer, now 67, over
forty years ago on the opening night of the Ringling Brothers and
Barnum & Bailey Circus in 1973. The Oscar winner wore the same
costume again on an episode of her TV series the Sonny and Cher Show.
