Is Janice Dickinson being Bad?!

Even though we don't buy it, Janice Dickinson has used her title as "The World's First Supermodel" to land a myriad of reality TV gigs, for better and for worse. Her four-season stint as a judge on America's Next Top Model is what reintroduced her to the public, as she provided a brutally honest voice for show, and became it's breakout start. Although reports suggested that Dickinson walked from the show to appear on the fifth season of The Surreal Life, she contends that Tyra Banks  fired her, and replaced her with Twiggy of all people. That had to hurt.

Since then, Dickinson has appeared on The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, Abbey & Janice: Beauty & The Best and I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!  In 2009, Dickinson was a guest judge on the Finnish version of Next Top Model when she fell down the stairs and threw a tantrum aimed at the models during an episode. After demanding to be taken to the hospital, Dickinson apologized to the models for her outburst and blamed it on a sleeping pill and champagne cocktail. As you can see, this girl is all class.

As loud prints, tribal patterned frocks and soft feminine tops hit the runway at the Custo Barcelona show, a male model caught the fancy of super model Janice Dickinson. Making her presence known Dickinson, sitting front row, shouted, "Can I get your number after the show?"
The model did the same thing the modeling industry has been doing for years, and ignored her.

Dickinson was colorful and rambunctious, Custo Dalman's spring show was more toned down then past collections. Sophisticated elegance was the flavor of season at the Custo Barcelona show. Decadent embroidered jackets, bold one pieces, sheer tops and shimmering blouses hit the runway. Stand out items included a red and white Aztec embroidered pair of shorts and a metallic blue-and-green dress complete with a black and white check patterned details.

Love or Hate her: Janice Doesn't Care!

Say what you like about Janice Dickinson because she doesn't care. From Paris to New York to Milan, Janice broke down barriers in the fashion industry all while living the high life at Studio 54.

In the late 1970's Janice's career hit its peak, receiving campaigns with Revlon, JVC, Calvin Klein, Versace and countless magazine covers, VOGUE, ELLE and COSMOPOLITAN among them. However, due to substance abuse issues, Dickinson's career began to falter in the late 1980's leading to Dickinson's successful reinvention as a photographer based in Los Angeles.

In 2002 she wrote her memoir, No Lifeguard on Duty, which became a sensational bestseller, offering a cautionary tale about the dangers of living the high life. Then in 2003 Dickinson appeared on the hit UPN television series America's Next Top Model and became an instant sensation once again. She followed up No Lifeguard on Duty with Everything About Me is Fake...And I'm Perfect, which was also a great success. She has also written several articles for the magazines that she used to grace the covers of, namely VOGUE, MORE and FQ.

First Super Model of the World: Janice Dickinson!

Janice Doreen Dickinson (born February 15, 1955) is an American model, photographer, author, and talent agent. Initially notable as a model and..........................................................
she has described herself as the first supermodel. One of the most successful models throughout the 1970s and 1980s, she expanded her profession to reality television in 2003 by judging for four cycles on America's Next Top Model.
She subsequently opened her own modeling agency in 2005, which was documented in the reality-television series The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency (2006–2008). She was born in the Brooklyn borough of New York City, New York, the middle daughter of Jennie Marie (née Pietrzykoski) and Ray Dickinson. Her mother was of Polish descent and her father was of Belarusian ancestry. She was raised in Hollywood, Florida, with two sisters, elder Alexis, who became a real estate agent, and younger Debbie, who also became a model.

Dickinson has been open about the emotional and physical abuse she suffered as a child and teenager, and how her father used to sexually abuse one of her sisters. Of her childhood with her "rageoholic pedophile" of a father, Dickinson stated, "Because I wouldn't give in and let him have sex with me!"
ost people our age (we're really, really young, by the way) know Janice Dickinson as the synthetic, loudmouth judge of America's Next Top Model, and a handful of other reality shows where desperate celebrities go to die. But once upon a time, during something old people like to call "the '80s," Janice Dickinson was the toast of the fashion world. The self-proclaimed "world's first supermodel" graced the covers of legendary magazines Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue and Playboy and worked with elite designers Giorgio Armani, Gianni Versace and Calvin Klein  Unfortunately, fashion has no room for the old and gray, and Dickinson's fear of irrelevance has led her to an infamous, and sometimes pathetic career as a reality TV stalwart. That being said, we're still talking about her so she must be doing something right. When was the last time anyone's mentioned Cheryl Tiegs  anyway?

SEX APPEAL
This is a tricky one. Young Janice Dickinson was one of the most beautiful women of all time. The former supermodel has famously claimed to have slept with over 1,000 men including Rock star, Mick Jagger!

Model Janice Dickinson Says Bill Cosby Sexually Assaulted Her!!

The allegations of sexual assault directed at comedian Bill Cosby continue to mount. On Tuesday, supermodel Janice Dickinson joined more than a dozen other women, saying Cosby sexually assaulted her in 1982. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Dickinson, who is now 59, recounted how Cosby struck up what appeared to be a professional relationship with her more than 30 years ago.

Dickinson says Cosby reached out to her during a trip to Bali and had her travel to Lake Tahoe, because he was performing there and wanted to offer her the job they had discussed as well as help her with a singing career. Dickinson says they had dinner in Lake Tahoe, and claims that he gave her a glass of red wine and a pill, which she asked for because she was menstruating and had stomach pains.
.
“The next morning I woke up, and I wasn't wearing my pajamas, and I remember before I passed out that I had been sexually assaulted by this man,” she tells ET. “... Before I woke up in the morning, the last thing I remember was Bill Cosby in a patchwork robe, dropping his robe and getting on top of me. And I remember a lot of pain. The next morning I remember waking up with my pajamas off and there was semen in between my legs."
Dickinson also told Entertainment Tonight she wrote about the assault in her 2002 autobiography No Lifeguard on Duty: The Accidental Life of the World's First Supermodel, butwhen she submitted a draft with her full story to HarperCollins, Cosby and his lawyers pressured her and the publisher to remove the details.”

janice dickinson becomes the

WORLD'S FIRST SUPERMODEL

Well, not really. But at the height of her career, Janice Dickinson was one of the most sought after models in the world, and has appeared on the cover of Vogue 37 times. The whole "supermodel" thing is simply a case of Dickinson taking credit, where credit's not due. We all know that Twiggy   was doing her thing back in the '60s. Sorry Janice, you were a couple decades too late.

DSquared2: Twin Designers

Now in their late forties, Dean and Dan Caten say they started out by designing denim, because they weren't allowed to wear it when they were growing up.
"Our Dad, like a lot of older people, thought denim is for poor people," said Dean in an interview.

The twins were in a family of nine children, raised by a single father, a welder, in Toronto. They say their success in the fashion world is probably due to that modest background. "I think sometimes the less you have, the more creative you have to become," Caten said. "It's not having the things you want in the fashion sense. We didn't have great clothes growing up, and we didn't have fashion accessible to us."

DSquared is based in Milan, Italy, and it now has moved light years beyond denim, but the twin’s collections are still tinged with Canadian themes, Dan said. "Doing a collection, we start with a theme, and that gives us a point of departure – cowboys, matadors," he said. "We're telling a story. It's like making a short film. When it comes time for the runway, we have the set, the music, the lighting – will we make it rain or snow?"

Their clothing, the denim in particular, is a favorite among musicians like Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Rihanna, and Madonna, who asked the duo to create more than 150 pieces for her 2002 Drowned World Tour. The design duo did the costumes for a recent Usher world tour, as well. The brothers opened their flagship store in Milan in 2007, complete with an exclusive Champagne bar, and subsequently launched locations in Capri, Kiev, Istanbul, and Hong Kong.
In 2010, they were the hosts of Launch My Line, a design competition reality show on Bravo. They have launched a signature fragrance, have designed football team uniforms and have collaborated with Fiat automobiles.
In 2009 they launched Dsquared for Sirius Satellite Radio's BPM Channel, and somewhere in there I forgot to mention that they have a designer line of sunglasses. Their products may be purchased in the U.S. at high retailers such as Saks Fifth Avenue and at select fashion boutiques. A link to their on-line shopping site is at the end of this post.

Dean and Dan, who divide their life/work between Milan and London, create their collections in Italy: “Born in Canada, living in London, made in Italy”.

“We are the two simplest people on the face of the earth. We have come from nothing, have made something, and we’re giving back to everything that we ever came from, everything that we support.”

Nick Jonas Talk Sex!

Nick Jonas knows exactly how to keep his kingdom healthy.

"Sex is such an important part of a healthy life," the 22-year-old singer and star of DirecTV's "Kingdom" said in the magazine of Attitude.

"In a sense that it's such an intrinsic part of who you are," he added.

He certainly appears to have entered a time of self-discovery in his life apart from the Jonas Brothers, the boy band he was a part of with his older brothers Joe and Kevin for most of his younger years before they broke up nearly one year ago.

Part of his reinvention includes releasing his second self-titled solo album -- he originally released his first solo album, "Nicholas Jonas," in 2005 while still with the Jonas Brothers.

To stay on course with all the changes taking place in his life, Jonas emphasized the importance of a having a great sex life.
If his recent recreation of Mark Wahlberg's classic Calvin Klein crotch-grabbing ad for Flaunt magazine is any indication of his new sexual journey, Jonas appears to be right on course.
"No pants needed," the Flaunt magazine  the steamy photo on Oct. 2 on Twitter.
According to some of Jonas' admirers, what he does need is a good waxing job as they're not too pleased with how hairy he's become over the years.
"I think that I've never even tried to like wax or shave my chest hair or anywhere else," he said to Attitude. "I'm a man, I don't really need to! That's the beautiful part about being a man!"
Jonas' sexual revolution is more than personal. It's also clearly heard in his new music, which is exactly what he intended to do.
"There are songs on my record that I want people to have sex to," Nick said to Flaunt
Not convinced? Just check out his newly released music video for his latest single "Teacher," which shows half-naked young people with the lyrics of the song written across various body parts.
"Dance with that body, girl / 'Cause everybody here is wanting that body, girl," he sings..

Nick Jonas Want to be a Designer!

EN Star Style - Nick Jonas wants to design outerwear.
The multitalented star found fame in band Jonas Brothers with his siblings Joe and Kevin and has now moved into acting with TV show Kingdom.

Recently the 22-year-old signed a modeling contract with the Wilhelmina agency, placing one foot firmly in the fashion industry. Keen to cement his style status, Nick would like to create clothing, too.
"I'm in conversation with a few people," he confirmed to WWD when asked about apparel deals. "I think outerwear would work for me but I don't want to rule out any category."
With Christmas around the corner, it's likely the star is thinking about ways to spoil his Miss Universe girlfriend Olivia Culpo. But there are no goodies on his own wish list.
"I don't want anything for Christmas," he modestly stated. "I just want to spend time with my family."
It's likely Nick's New Year's wish is to be modelling his own clothing rather than other people's designs. But for now, he's just excited to be picked by the agency.
"Even though I’m a foot shorter than all the guys in here, I’m officially a Wilhelmina model! Never thought this would happen," he said, according to New York Post's Page Six.
And he's certainly made the most of his new-found love of posing by appearing in a Flaunt magazine shoot that saw him grab his crotch, wearing just white underpants, with jeans pulled down to his knees.
But in an interview with Attitude magazine, he claimed his relatively hair-free chest in the pictures was a God-give gift.
"It’s funny, I never even really thought about it; that that would be an issue. I think that I've never even tried to like wax or shave my chest hair or anywhere else. I just think, 'I’m a man, I don’t really need to!'" he laughed to the publication. "That's the beautiful part about being a man! It's a whole lot of trouble to do all that!"

TOMBOY Fashion: You Should Know!

Tomboy Fashion: An Aussie Brand You Should Know!

The Aussies have got it going on. Here's one clothing line that will have you styling like you're from down under.
Zanerobe, which is described as “progressive streetwear.” Zanerobe was listed on Complex  magazine’s “10 Brands that are About to Blow Up.” Here is a look book shot of the sexy.
And just a heads up: Some of their pants are elastic around the waist, a trend that we are seeing right now so don’t freak out totally. Elastic waist just means you can freely gain weight and lose weight (just kidding! Keep fit says the FG10 team!! :)
