‘Young and the Restless’ Phyllis and Adam – Unexpected Power Couple in The Making?

Phyllis Summers Abbott(Michelle Stafford) got the dirt she wanted on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Her trip to Las Vegas, Nevada, happened after she broke away from a kidnapper she assumed was Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). That’s why she intends to rile him now.Michelle Stafford’s comeback was teased a handful of episodes earlier, where she was shown sitting at a bar. No lines were spoken, but the sight of her was enough to make fans of the original Phyllis smile. The iconic version of ‘Red’ was back, as had been stunningly announced earlier this spring.

The Young and the Restless spoilers buzz that a new power couple may rise with Adam Newman(Mark Grossman) and Phyllis Abbott (Michelle Stafford). From the ashes of some seriously burned out relationships, “Phadam” may rise soon. Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) married and another man and supports Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) keeping Christian Newman (McGuigan Twins). So, things may go off the rails fast. And Phyllis could be there as a supportive shoulder and fellow schemer. Here’s a look at why we might see Phadam soon on Y&R on CBS. 

        

Fans should not expect the spoilers putting Chadam together right away. In fact, it seems she’s thrilled her husband and possible soul mate is alive, that’s not enough. Chelsea reportedly doesn’t like what Adam Newman is doing with Nick. And it should be Nick’s side she takes based on the most recent spoilers for the soap.

Of course, Adam expected Chelsea to take his side. This throws Adam for a total loop. It will shake Adam further when Chelsea uses their son Connor Newman (Gadbois Twins)  as a bargaining chip. The new Young and the Restless spoilers say he’s stunned and hurt by her ultimatum. This makes him ripe for the picking by Phyllis Abbott.

Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis feels like everyone is kicking her when she’s down. That includes exes Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Nick. But also Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). She’s the second biggest black sheep in Genoa City right now – following Adam Newman. She’s angry at the world, dumped, and booted from Jabot. This mess also cost her the close relationship she once had with Summer Newman (Hunter King). 

So she needs an ally.

But the only one in town willing to give her the time of day is Adam. Now, he’s handed her the keys to restore her power in the business world. She’s running Dark Horse now and that means a lot to her. Plus, they’re neighbors at the GCAC. So, when Adam comes back frustrated and angry from his non-reunion with Chelsea Newman, that’s when they may start clicking. They are two broken people who have been let down by those they thought loved them. These two are Young and the Restless outcasts.

Phyllis Plus Adam = Trouble

Y&R spoilers tease that this Phyllis-Adam pairing doesn’t bode well for those that betrayed them. These two angry underdogs could rise up and take their place as a Genoa City top power couple. Adam has business sense and cunning while Phyllis brings crafty business acumen to the table. She is also computer savvy with people skills. These two as a couple could very well take over the town. On a recent appearance on The Talk, Michelle Stafford previewed a “bad girl” version of Phyllis Abbott.

Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam Newman and Red could be a power pair in both business and pleasure. Pairing up personally is something they can throw in the faces of their ex-partners that hurt them. You can bet that Billy, Chelsea, and Nick will hate to see Phyllis Abbott with Adam Newman. So, wait to see what happens next on the CBS sudser as Adam and Phyllis join forces as the town continues  to turn against them.
