Michael B. Jordan: A Hero to LGBTQ

 Related image

In November, the 32-year-old Black Panther star helped execs at Warner Brothers write their new inclusion policy for 2019.
“I helped Warner Brothers write their inclusion policy for the studio,” he told The View. “It’s pretty much the first step to open up the doors and set a precedent for other studios to follow that lead.”

Many people didn’t know what inclusion riders until Frances McDormand called for them during her Best Actress acceptance speech at last year’s Academy Awards.
Jordan continued: “It just basically means that it’s mandatory in every department to see a person of color, a woman, somebody from the LGBT community. Warner Brothers are stepping up and doing that. It is a huge step. It’s major.”
Now, as a token of their gratitude, studio execs just inked a first-look deal with Jordan’s Outlier Society production company, which he founded in 2016.

“Michael has become a leading voice in a new generation of talent and is creating real change in the industry,” says Warner Brothers chairman Toby Emmerich. “His talent is undeniable, and beyond that, his commitment and conviction around representation and inclusion are inspiring—he truly walks the walk.”
Jordan has been the subject of gay rumors in the past, which he denied, though he remains a fierce ally to the LGBTQ community.Related imageRelated image

Robert Scott Wilson: Baddest Bad Boy

A serial killer find redemption and true love in a sleepy small town?
That’s the hot story heating up NBC’s “Days of Our Lives” (weekdays at 1 p.m.) and its fans who have rallied behind perhaps the Baddest Bad Boy to hit the fictional town of Salem since the serial started in 1965.
Related image
Credit Grafton’s own Robert Scott Wilson, who is bringing vulnerability, remorse and a bit of mystery to the character of Ben Weston, a guy who murdered three women and terrorized half the town in 2015.
Ben was carted off to the mental hospital, and Wilson left the show. But now he’s back, and Ben is cured of his murderous rages — Ben swears — and viewers can’t get seem to get enough.
Related image
“He’s trying to be a better person. It’s going to get uglier before its gets prettier, and that’s my favorite part,” Wilson said last week.
Wilson lavishes praise on the “Days” writers for keeping the story grounded.
“They’ve honestly done a great job of telling this story, of not rushing it or brushing anything under the rug. There isn’t an easy road to redemption, and this audience will see the struggle for Ben to prove himself. It’s not just something that changes overnight.”
Related image
In recent shows, Ben has found a home with Ciara (Victoria Konefal), the troubled daughter of Salem police Commissioner Hope Brady (Brockton native Kristian Alfonso). Ben and Ciara are both damaged souls — and that might explain why some fans root so for them. (Shippers have even given themselves a name — Cinners.)

“Victoria is super-talented, and I’m just trying to hold my end up. … I was baffled by the number of people who got on board immediately. The story hasn’t even developed yet,” Wilson said, referring to what is currently playing out onscreen. (“Days” tapes about five-and-a-half months ahead.) “It’s still a roller-coaster relationship.”

When did you start your Registered Dietitian and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with an athletic background as an All-American Sprinter/Hurdler? It’s very impressive.
My collegiate track career (2008-2012) kept me interested in studying the human body for maximal sport performance and overall health. After graduating with a double-major in Exercise Science and Dietetics, I attained my professional certifications in 2013 and 2014 respectively. I have been working in the area of Bariatric Surgery (Surgical Weight-Loss) ever since becoming a Registered Dietitian. Being able to help patients through such an amazing life and body transformation is one of the biggest blessings of my career as a dietitian.

Tell me about your workout, how do you maintain a very healthy lifestyle, masculine body.
With working as a professional in the health and fitness industry, it is a MUST that I practice what I preach all day. Diet trumps any activity since even THE BEST workouts can be easily sabotaged by poor nutrition. I choose the right foods, eat at least 5-6 times per day, and allow my body to rest with adequate sleep (7 hours seems optimal for my body).
In terms of workouts, I stick to functional movements that help me maintain the strength and speed I built up through running track in college. I still hurdle from time-to-time and like to go back to my Alma Mater (Appalachian State Univ) at least once a year to compete and see where I’m at speed wise.

You have a real look of a young Brad Pitt, Chris Hemsworth with a great body, did anyone ever approach you to be a male model or try-out for acting?
It’s a major compliment to even be placed in the same sentence as those great models and actors!… I have never been approached for modeling or acting opportunities, but I’ve never really put myself out there to be scouted. Modeling/Acting is something that has always interested me and I would WARMLY welcome any opportunities to work in fashion and film industry.

Do you have an interesting anecdote from a photo shoot, a casting or a show?
I’ve been in love with art and creative expression since as long as I can remember. I like to see what I can come up with on my own with simple gear such as an old iPhone and tripod. Once of my more recent satisfying pictures is from when I filmed a “clone pic” of shirtless “my twin” tying my shoe in the middle of a workout. After some photo editing, I posted the picture on my Instagram page (@CoachDoh) and played it off as my REAL twin “TJ”… I still have some followers thinking that TJ is actually a twin brother of mine.

Turning to some personal questions, how would you describe your way to have fun, the places you usually go, and your way to enjoy life?
I enjoy what I call the “priceless” type of fun… enjoying true EXPERIENCES with the people I love the most. Going to the movies and out to clubs are a bit plain to me. I want to go and do the things that are impossible to forget and form a tight bond between all the people involved. Swimming with dolphins in the ocean, riding elephants on a safari, taking a cooking class with a professional chef, restaurant/tasting tours, etc… anything “Bucket List” worthy or close to it is what I am ALL about.
Image result for AJ Dohanic
Tell me about your professional plans...
I love my job as a Surgical Weight-Loss Dietitian and the hospital health benefits, but I know that I am called to do much more outside of an office job. We have very limited time on this earth and I refuse to let any great opportunity of experience go to waste. I want to be able to look back at my life at 70+ years old and have the BIGGEST smile on my face while reflecting back on all the positive impact I was able to create and the great people I met along the way.
I want to do it all!… model, act, produce music, write books, invent, etc… I am a FIRM believer that we are given life to see how much we can make out of it; and I approach each day to fulfill that blessing by setting the bar high and exceeding my own expectations.

What is your favorite sport and how often do you play it?
Basketball. I’ve been in more of a business mode for the past couple years, so I haven’t played in a LONG minute!… Maybe after a modeling/acting career kicks off, I’ll be able to have a personal court to run some tournaments on.
Image result for AJ Dohanic
What is your favorite kind of movies and the last film you watched?
With a creative mind and such a strong desire to learn and challenge my thoughts, I like movies that 1) teach life lessons, 2) include mental problem solving, 3) have an ending that has such a twist at the end that it makes you question the entire past two hours you spent watching the movie.
Some of my favorites are: Inside Man, Deja Vu, The Taking of Pelham 123, The Book of Eli, and The Equalizer… I think you can tell that I’m a Denzel Washington fan.
Fun Fact: I am still on a “TV-Hiatus” which I started soon after my divorce back in March of 2017. Ever since then I have dedicated all my free time personal development and financial pursuits that will put me in a MUCH better position as a  husband the next, and LAST, time I get married.
Despite my break from TV, the last movie I watched was on a movie theater date to see “A Quiet Place” starring John Krasinski. The movie was ON-POINT with my desired criteria and remains a VERY memorable date night for me.

Your favorite female model?
Gotta say what comes to mind first!… An Instagram model that has really caught my eye just within the past few weeks is Juliana Herz. I’m into natural beauty and Juliana happens to be one of the best forms of naturally beauty I have ever seen in my life. I’ve been more drawn to hazel eyes in the past, but there are exceptions in everything; I’m flexible.

Your favorite male model?
I’m not vain by any means, but I do admire the models that I feel I have similar qualities to: Chris Hemsworth, Brad Pitt, Channing Tatum, etc… of course I may look more like them at different angles, features, hair styles and life stages.
What's always in your fridge?
In fridge: Eggs, cheese, almond milk, yogurt, crushed walnuts… in the freezer: raspberries, blueberries, and english muffins. Everyone needs more vegetables in their diet, especially me as a dietitian, so spinach and red bell peppers are making a reappearance on this list ASAP!

What movie always makes you cry?
Let’s say SOMEWHAT emotionally caught-up rather than cry - “John Q” and any other movie that depicts childhood suffering and struggle. There are few things worst in the world than losing a child or being at risk of losing one; and drawn out struggles leading to loss just make things 10x harder to bare.
Image result for AJ Dohanic
What was your first job?
My dad had me and my older brother mowing lawns and doing yard work for him and every neighbor from the able age. Three to four lawns a day had me despising grass after so many childhood years of seemingly endless mowing. I’ll be proud to mow the yard of my Forever Home once I get that secured though.

How many days a week do you workout?
I do at least a little something every day of the week even if its just 15-20 minutes. Most people get caught up in exercise “time” when its always been the “quality” of a person’s workout the really produces great results.

What is your favorite workout?
Sex done the RIGHT way. It’s not just “Sex” when it’s done right though. Love making is a full experience that starts with foreshadowing, forward planning, foreplay, and final touches… and all that leads to the satisfying, out-of-body experience that every women deserves. I treat my women Riiiiight!
Do you have a girlfriend/boyfriend?
Currently single, seeking, but NOT settling on the women that I will look forward to spending every day of the rest of my life with. Looks alone WILL NOT cut it for me!… gotta have that undoubtable connection and compatibility in many more ways than just the bedroom. Non-negotiables are 1) Transparency, 2) Honesty, and 3) Willingness to grow and stay together by any means necessary. From those comes trust, security, and reliability. It’s not much to ask for, but it is all ABSOLUTELY necessary.

Who is your favorite designer?
I honestly haven’t established a favorite designer. I respect all forms of creativity and admire the idea of visions coming to life. I like the look of sleek and bold; something along the lines of Nathan George Horwitt and Movado, but in the form of full attire design.
Tag a twin!!! 😉

Are you boxers or briefs?
Briefs

Do you sleep in pajamas, briefs or nude?
I’ve been a boxer brief kind of guy; gotta keep the goods with that extra layer of protection.
Do you drink wine, beer or soda?
I’ll enjoy a glass of red wine when seeking more of a sophisticated mood. You’ll NEVER catch me drinking a brew and soda only comes in Root Beer form paired with vanilla ice cream!

What is your favorite time of day?
Sunset and Sunrise time. I’m big on symbolism and beauty; the cycle of setting and rising paired with breathtaking views that are never EXACTLY the same is one of my top visual cravings. My “Forever Home” will include full access to solar cycles.

Is it better to shower in the morning or before bedtime???

What is your favorite tv show?
Back when I was watching TV, Shark Tank and Chopped (Food Network) were borderline addicting. I still enjoy YouTubing the most popular Ellen viewings for Day Time TV. I’ve always admired Ellen for her entertaining personality but mostly for how she really helps people and cares for them deeply.

Where have you been traveling recently?
Never actually been out the country for travel just yet, but Thailand is high on the desired list!… Once I get financial situation set a bit more, I’ll step my travel game up!

Mitchell Slaggert: The Big Screen

Look_04_0022 copy

Mitchell Slaggert on the Big Screen

Most models can tell you that getting discovered is a matter of being in the right place at the right time. For Mitchell Slaggert, a recent addition to our Hot List and a favorite of Versace, DSquared2, and Calvin Klein, a second earlier or later could have made all the difference. “I was walking to my car after class one day and Daniel Peddle and I crossed paths, then he chased me down and asked if I wanted to model,” Slaggert recalls, referring to the casting director who co-owns the casting company The Secret Gallery with partner Drew Dasent. “I was like, ok, this is too good to be true, thank you, no thank you. He gave me his card and he was like, ‘I’ll be expecting to hear from you.’”
Look_02_0216 copy 2
Peddle adds that it was actually even more fortuitous than that, the result of a split-second decision that could just have easily gone the other way. “I didn’t actually see him very well and I only got a glimpse of him out of the corner of my eye and I was actually running late,” he recalls. “I got two blocks and it was literally like the universe tapped me on the shoulder and told me to go get that guy so I ran back. I just knew right away that this was one of those rare finds. When you scout as often as I do, you find a lot of cool people, but it’s not that often that you find someone that you get that special sense about.”Peddle’s instincts, as they have so often before, turned out right. In the year since that fateful encounter, Slaggert was a Calvin Klein exclusive for his first season, has shot with Mert & Marcus and Boo George, and appeared in numerous campaigns for Calvin Klein, including David Sims’s famous Spring 2016 underwear ads along with Kendall Jenner and Julian Schneyder. Slaggert still hasn’t quite wrapped his head around how quickly his success has come. “Essentially I had no idea, I thought it was kind of the norm,” he laughs. “I almost wasn’t going to do the Calvin Klein Underwear campaign and then my sister was like, ‘You have to, it’s iconic,’ and I realized it was the same thing that Michael Jordan and Mark Wahlberg had done.”
Look_08_0018 1 copy
His life has changed in many other ways as well. Born in Michigan and raised in Georgia, Slaggert had been studying mechanical engineering and was fresh from a job interview with the Department of Homeland Security when Peddle discovered him. Now he’s in a full-time acting course at the New York Film Academy and has two movie credits to his name, including the lead in Moss, Peddle’s new film written specifically for and in collaboration with him. “I was shocked and honored because I know Daniel has done this before and he’s very professional,” says Slaggert of being asked to be a part of the film. “I started training because I didn’t want to let him down and I wanted to make the most of this great opportunity.”
Shot on an island off the coast of North Carolina earlier this summer, Moss follows the eponymous main character over the course of his eighteenth birthday as he deals with what Peddle, who has also directed several documentaries and one feature previously, calls “the shadow of his mother’s death and his father’s detachment.” The role, Slaggert’s first, required both emotional depth and physical strength, as he paddled across rivers and climbed trees, and allowed him to expand on a part of his own personality. “When I read the script, I mentally got myself back into an eighteen-year-old mind frame and went back to my roots growing up down in Georgia,” Slaggert recalls. “If I’m out in the woods for a while just observing animals, I get really in tune with nature. It almost feels like my second home, my home away from home.”
Now signed with WME, Slaggert has been going on auditions while continuing to study his craft, demonstrating a passion and determination to constantly improve himself even as his modeling career continues to take off. “I started taking some courses and then I started reading all these books, and they had great insight, but I learned by doing it,” he says of acting. “You can hear and see so much, but if you don’t actually start practicing it, it’s not going anywhere.”

Hi Jeff! It’s great to finally talk, after knowing you as “Brandon.” After all the years as a performer, what’s the biggest misconception people have about you, because of your work as “Brandon”?
Jeff: The biggest one is that I’m an escort. I have never and will never be an escort. I’ve been offered over $10,000 for one night and I rejected it, so it would be great if people could stop trying to get me to escort.
Related image
I think people might assume that because there are a lot of porn stars who escort.
Just because I did porn doesn’t mean I’m someone who is comfortable with giving up my body to just anyone. When I decide to be intimate, I give that person a piece of my heart. I am a very passionate person with a very big heart, and that gets me in trouble sometimes. It gives me a lot of chances to have my heart broken, and to be taken advantage of. In the end, I think it’s worth it because what’s life without love, passion, and heartbreak?
But, there’s obviously a difference between who you’re intimate with in your personal life and who you’re performing with at Sean Cody.
Porn, especially with Sean Cody, is very professional. They treat us with respect, give us very nice hotels to stay in, feed us, and make us 100% comfortable. I love their company, and that’s why I’ve stayed there this long. They have always treated me fairly, and made me feel like a king.

Related image
I want to get to Sean Cody, but first wanted to touch on your new, non-Brandon business, “Cope With Fitness.” For those who don’t know, what is it?
Cope With Fitness is a customized, 12-week workout program, consisting of a two or three part workout plan, changing your workout every four to six weeks so that your muscles don’t get used to what you’re doing. The goal is for you to look forward to going to the gym and seeing your body change, and doing this will prevent a plateau.

So you’re training people, but it’s all virtual, and done online?
The program is mainly running off the app and website called “Trimerize,” and you can find it in the app store under “Cope With Fitness.” The program shows videos of every workout that I have, and I’m slowly adding my own voiceover videos to the site. The site helps track nutrition and fitness, and it syncs to a Fitbit. You can print every workout from the app or website, too.

Related image
What about diet? I know nothing about fitness or health, but diet is important, right?
Yes! The app also makes custom meal plans, gives you substitution options, and prints out a grocery list at the bottom of each page. Supplement advice will also be given—and I’ve been researching, studying, and trying out supplements for 10 years now, so I have a pretty good grasp on what works well, and which ones are just gimmicks. I also send you instructional videos to show you the proper form and the way to do certain workouts. I’ll be doing weekly updates to track your progress and answer any questions you have.

The program is online, but do you ever train in gyms or in person?
I do, but I’m focused on the online personal training now. When I do start doing more in person, it’ll most likely be in Tennessee. Think of me as your personal fitness coach. I started the program to help the busy people who don’t have time to get a personal trainer in a gym, or they want someone who actually cares about them meeting their goal. I only take in 10 -12 clients per quarter so I don’t spread myself too thin, that way I can always be there when your fitness emergency takes place.
Related image
What’s the most fulfilling part about running Cope With Fitness?
The most fulfilling part is the daily texts and calls I get thanking me, telling me how much me helping them means to them. Making my clients laugh is also always a great feeling, all in all this “job”—which is not really a job, it’s more like a fun hobby—keeps me smiling and makes me go to sleep feeling very happy.

This makes me wonder if you still have the time—or the interest—in performing as “Brandon“? Have you moved on from Sean Cody?
I wouldn’t say I’ve moved on, but…doing porn wasn’t exactly my number one career choice.
Image result for jeff cope
Why did you end up doing it then?
I was young, lost, and my family needed financial stability. So, it was a necessity. I do not regret it by any means. It’s been a crazy, fun, and very interesting journey. But I hated my job—I was a waiter at Applebee’s—and I really needed money, and honestly I didn’t see the harm of jacking off for some money in front of a camera. I mean, I did it in in my room all the time. Of course, I didn’t think I’d end up being the face of Sean Cody. I used to be a shy, young man who wouldn’t even shower after gym class. But that changed real quick!

You haven’t always had your good body and physique?
Oh, no, I used to be 90 pounds of skin and bones as a freshman in high school. I started lifting as a sophomore because I realized it felt so good to throw things around and build something that I could be proud of and protect myself with. It helps me in so many ways.
Image result for jeff cope
So, just to be sure one way or the other, will you still film porn?
Who knows, there may still be some videos that haven’t even been published. The main thing is I’m finally pursuing my dream fitness coaching, as helping others is very fulfilling. But at the same time, I believe me doing porn was also helping others. I’ve received so many thank you notes and letters telling me how much I’ve helped and motivated people just by being in the industry, and they tell me how I’ve gotten them through the darkest parts of their life.

OK, last time I’ll ask about it, but it sounds like continuing with Sean Cody is still on the table for you?
Honestly, I wouldn’t say I’m done with porn. I would just say that I’m just expanding my career. I’m pursuing other things and knowing that, eventually, porn isn’t going to be there for me anymore.

Do you ever have free time now? When you’re not performing, training, or working on Cope With Fitness, what do you do?I go downtown for laser tag or Dave & Busters, and I’m a big movie buff. I go to music festivals and concerts, too. But no matter what, I make time for the gym, cause that’s my sanity and I don’t want to lose that.
Related image
Just like porn stars, personal trainers have competition, too. What makes Cope With Fitness more effective than other training programs?
We teach fitness as a way of life, a way to cope with everyday problems. I know I use fitness to help me with anxiety, stress, and any major issue I’m dealing with—especially break-ups. I get really into the gym after a break-up, and it helps heal so much. We aim to build a relationship where we can trust one another, talk about our problems, and help each other over come everyday troubles.

Where do you see yourself and Cope With Fitness five years from now?
I’m hoping to open my own gym, still be training, and hopefully have my business big enough that I can hire my friends as trainers. I also hope I can sit back and think about how many people I’ve helped to make a difference in their lives, and that I’ve built amazing relationships just by having them as clients.
And if you could pitch the idea to a potential client right now, what would you say? What’s the first thing they’ll notice after a few sessions?I mean, stop making excuses and putting it off. Fitness is not only a physical necessity, it’s a mental necessity, and once you figure that out, you will know true happiness. It’s those first three weeks of forming a habit that’s the hardest, but after that it becomes just a thing that you do and a thing that you enjoy!

It does sound like there are mental and emotional components to the program?
I’ve read many books on psychology, and I’m a very intuitive person when it comes to people struggling with depression, anxiety, or addictive personalities. I can see eye to eye with these people because I’ve either had it happen to me, seen it with others and how it effects them, or I’m still dealing with it to this day. I just want to help people realize they are not alone out there, and I think running this company is a very good way to do it. We are very loyal to our clients.

You’ve referenced “we” a few times, and that’s because you’re running the business with your brother. He obviously knows about your work with Sean Cody, but how did he find out?
I just told him. It was like telling anyone else. I mean, either they accept you for what you are and what you’ve done, or they don’t belong in your life. And he did—he accepted me and accepts me no matter what I decide to do.

What about telling other family or friends about your work as a performer?
Everyone has their own opinion. Usually I don’t even have to tell someone, because all I have to do is add them to Twitter or Instagram and, boom, they know. It doesn’t seem to be an issue with me socially. People see me and aren’t really surprised about anything I tell them, I guess I just look like a guy who is capable of anything!
Do you get recognized in public as “Brandon” a lot?
Yes. When I’m out of town it happens all the time, especially Miami and San Diego. In Nashville, it tends to happen, too. People will usually have their friend walk up to me, or they’ll say, “Why do you look familiar?” I answer with some kind of sarcastic, smirking comment, just to break the ice.

And you don’t really speak about your work as “Brandon” to promote Cope With Fitness, but you could. Has that been a deliberate choice?
I’m not hungry for attention, but I also don’t fear it by any means. I enjoy the confrontation that can come from that, if you handle it the right way. It’s a very efficient way to figure things out.

Has it been hard to separate the “Brandon” persona and who you really are as you run the business?
I don’t really have separate personas, my personality is what it is. I act the same on camera as I do in everyday life. I’m the same guy when I market Cope With Fitness—an outspoken, blunt, sarcastic, dry humor type of guy who just enjoys life, and making people laugh!

Unfortunately, given your popularity, you’ve had to deal with a lot of aggressive fans and stalkers online, right?
Yes, I do. I have one actually right now who’s making up very false accusations, and saying very demeaning things just because I wouldn’t send him pics and videos. I honestly don’t know how someone could be that coldhearted and hate me that much, just for not giving them what they want.

How do you handle these people?
Usually, I handle it in-house, and try to work with them and calm them down. If it comes to it, I do get my lawyer involved.

Right now, I have my lawyer involved in a case where a guy is blowing up my Twitter and email with tons of different fake profiles making false accusations, going as far as making fake documents to “prove” it. Obviously, this comes with the territory, so I’ve gotten used to it. But I wish the world would cheer up and just show love instead of all this hate—it saddens me!
Last week, you tweeted that you have an “intense and crazy back story,” and I wonder if you could elaborate on that?
Well, that is a novel.

Like, it’s a long story just to talk about, or you’re actually writing a book?
Honestly, I’m actually having a book written about it. I can give a little bit of a summary. When I was two years old, my dad walked out on my mom. She was overwhelmed, and she had bad men in her life who would leave her. And there were other issues at that time, so we—me and my two sisters—were taken away from her when I was four. We went into the foster system where abuse tends to occur at an alarming rate, and we were in and out of foster homes until I was 17, when I emancipated myself.

And then you were on your own?
I actually got a job at Burger King at age 15, and worked there until I was 19 and made it to manager. But I wasn’t happy, and I felt like I wasn’t living my life to its fullest. So, me and my sister moved to Tennessee to rebuild our relationship with our mom. That’s where my uphill battle started, but I’ve met many great people and have enjoyed this journey, and I have a great relationship with mom now. Also, when I was 21, I met my half brother for the first time, and now he’s a trainer for my company. Funny how life comes together. It’s amazing how things just work out, no matter what.

You started porn in 2011, and within a few months you became the most popular model at the #1 gay porn studio. At what point did you realize your popularity and how well-known you were in the gay community? What has that been like?
I wouldn’t go that far, LOL. At first it was very hard to deal with, as I was living in a small town in Tennessee where I had just moved. The type of town where everyone knows everyone—a “bible belt” kind of place. Within two weeks of my first video being released, everyone knew about me and was sending around videos, pics, and things of that nature. I had some “friends” turn away from me, and my family went through some times, but I can honestly say with full sincerity that it was a blessing in disguise.

How?
I used to run around being the social butterfly that I am, just living ignorantly thinking everyone was my friend. But after this, I grew even closer to the people who stuck by my side, and to this day I’m still friends with them. It weeded out the fakes, the people who were just there for a good time, and the people who were using me in some type of way. It made life less complicated, and I didn’t have to second guess the people in my life who I knew were there for the long haul. The friends and family still here mean the world to me, and I would do anything for them, as they would for me. My mom is an amazing woman, and I moved here to meet her and form a better relationship with her. She is still my go-to. I love her, and she accepts me for me without judging me—and same with my brother.

Being a straight man, what’s it like to perform in movies with other guys?
Honestly, I don’t really believe in labels. I am what I am. I’m attracted to people, and while physically I’m attracted to the female body, mentally I don’t put boundaries or have guidelines on how I feel. I grew up without a father figure, so this obviously affected the way I felt towards men. It made me very careful and almost shy around guys, but I grew up with two sisters and this made me very comfortable around females.

Has there been anything at Sean Cody you were able to do easily that surprised you?
I am usually pretty good at anything I try. That may sound cocky, but I like to think of it as confident.

Your first bottoming scene with Tanner was particularly surprising. Was filming that scene a tough decision for you?
It was only tough because I’d never done something like that before. Just like anything you do for the first time, you are nervous. But, [bottoming] was just a matter of time. I’m not a close-minded person, and I’m open to a lot of things.
Out of all your scene partners, who would you say was your personal favorite? You either click or you don’t, and if you don’t click, you have to make it click. I’m a pretty easygoing person, so I usually click with every model, but I can’t say that I have a favorite. I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings!

Finally, it sounds like things are running pretty smoothly now, and being Sean Cody’s Brandon hasn’t had any negative affect on daily life or running Cope With Fitness? It hasn’t affected me as much as some people would think. I’m not one to talk about it much, because I’m just not that guy who tries to make people think I’m cooler than I am. I’m very content with how my life has changed the past couple years. I’ve matured at an alarming rate, and I never thought I’d be at this stage in my life two years ago. I look back feeling proud and hopeful. I know that because I’m putting my whole heart into my company and my clients, it will work!
