Secrets about the Famous Designers!

Fun facts about some of our favorite designers. They weren’t born the ones they are today, some didn’t even considered would be with us everyday. ;)

Designer brands such as Chanel, Gucci and Christian Dior may be well known, but there are many obscure facts about them that fashion fans don’t know.

1. GUCCI

Have you ever bought a pair of jeans? Of course you had, but not Gucci ones ‘cuz they cost $3,135 a pair of Gucci Genius Jeans 

 

2. RALP LAUREN 

Before he was known for his famous polo shirts, he served in the army. Yeah he protected America for 2 years (1962-1964)

 

3. VERA WANG

Mrs. Wang dreamed to be an Olympic-ballerina(figure skater). Now you see her designing bridal dresses like she would dance with them on.

 

4. CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN

When you think Louboutin shoes you think for the sexy red. But, for a time Christian designed blue soles keeping in mind the brides. He wished harmony for them. But the red ones are sexier, right?

 

5. CHANEL

The famous and so desired Chanel 2.55 bag got the name by the date of its creation, February 1955.

 

6. KARL LAGERFELD 

Karl, who is also running Chanel, is said that owns over 300,000 books. He also created a scent, fragrance for book lovers called Paper Passions.  Children, read don’t get wasted ;)

 

7. LOUIS VUITTON 

OMFG NO! LV burns its old bags and unsold one to keep the brands complete exclusively. Chary them, give ’em to me.

 

8. MARC JACOBS

Marc is a cool designer. He has 28 tattoos, including a M&M character and SpongeBob Squarepants. No wonder why he collaborates with Miley Cyrus, he is a happy hippie.
