The personality formerly known as Bruce Jenner just made her debut on the July 2015 cover of Vanity Fair. It marks the first time, she fully reveals her true self in photos. Congrats Caitlyn.

Famed photographer Annie Leibovitz shot the 65-year-old former Olympian at her home in Malibu. Friday Night Lights author Buzz Bissinger was given unfettered access to Jenner and her family, chronicles the tensions, traumas, and courage that shaped Caitlyn into the woman you see today.

“If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life,’” Caitlyn tells Vanity Fair.

 

The issue hits newsstands on June 9. In the meantime, the publication shared a behind-the-scenes video of Leibovitz’s photoshoot where Caitlyn discusses how much living fully as a woman means to her. Check it out below.
