Jeremy Scott made his debut as Moschino‘s creative director at this season’s Milan Fashion Week.
Embracing his signature couture-trash aesthetic, Scott created
extravagant pieces poking fun at consumerist heavyweights like
McDonald’s, SpongeBob SquarePants, Budweiser and Frito-Lay. Coco Chanel
also got her own tribute in the form of iconic pieces twisted this way
and that. Divisive and controversial as always, Scott’s Moschino debut
for Fall/Winter 2014 is sure to be remembered.
Sportswear meets Zoolander in the latest installment of Adidas Originals, ongoing collab with notorious fashion troll Jeremy Scott Brash, over-the-top branding (hardly surprising given Scott’s current tenure at Moschino )
collides with staple adidas pieces and fetish-esque leather, bondage
and fishnet, all worn by some very jaunty looking models (if I was
forced to wear these clothes I would not look so happy). The collab’s
ever-popular Wings sneakers make a return, alongside some wedged-heel
sneakers for the ladies, finishing off a collection that will divide
opinion in a typically Scottian manner.
