Marlon Teixeira: Brazilian Body Beautiful

Born in Itajaí south Brazil, at three and a half years old Marlon Teixeira was diagnosed with cancer in the mediastinum (chest cavity that lies between the lungs). The treatment took more than three years and left a large scar on the back of the boy who since then surrendered to surfing.

Known as Gisele Bündchen of pants, Marlon Teixeira is now the most quoted male model in the fashion industry and one of the highest paid.

Owner of a sculptural body, penetrating look, sex appeal and an intoxicating simplicity, Marlon was introduced in Milan / Paris circuit to 16 years, from where he lifted flights to other places.

Today the boy of the golden body in 7th place in the world ranking of the most requested models, starred a hype full of sensuality to the Canadian brand Dsquared2 in 2013, was the only male model parading for spring / summer collection of iconic Chanel, chosen personally by Karl Lagerfeld also in 2013. This year Teixeira can’t stop, his gorgeous face is already in the campaign of fragrance by Carolina Herrera, in the side of the Gisele Bündchen Brazilian muse.

In fact if Brazil is not so popular as before because of football, certainly the “Yellow-green” models will make Brazil to continue being remembered!

How would you define Brazilian masculine beauty ? "Brazil is very multicultural and our roots have different origins so it’s impossible to define a specific kind of Brazilian beauty. There are tall blond guys in the south of the country, brown haired guys in the northeast and a plenty of black ones everywhere. We are very mixed and diversity is the most beautiful thing in the country of Brazil." 

What’s the beauty ritual that’s specific to Brazilian men? "I would say a dip in the sea. Brazilian men don’t really have a specific beauty ritual. For guys like me who spend a long time on the beach, I would say sunscreen is a must-have!"

What's the way to get the perfect Brasilian body?"For me, I always try to eat a healthy diet with whole grains, vegetables, and organic fruit when it’s possible. When I'm in Brazil, I try to do Yoga and Pilates. I love being by the sea and surfing and I love running and swimming." What's the way to get a cast iron six pack and buns of steel?"Actually, I'm a lucky guy, with good genes. I've been doing sport since I was young. I got my first surfboard when I was 5 or 6 years old and I used to surf almost every day for hours. It helped me to have this body today. "

The perfect spot for exercising outside in Brazil?"Anywhere by the sea. In my hometown, Praia Brava, in the south of the country, you can find plenty of wonderful places to exercise outside." The best healthy Brazilian recipe?"Açaí, guarana, banana and passion fruit with homemade granola" 

The best healthy Brazilian drink?"A fresh and organic fruit juice or coconut water after surfing." The perfect post-workout meal? "Coconut water" 

The most Brazilian guilty pleasure?"I don't have one. I don't feel guilty regarding food because I have a balanced diet." The ideal Brazilian woman?"It's all about her character; her sense of humor and other aspects of her personality. I love the winners."

The scent that makes you think of Brazil? "The smell of the beach as I grew up by the sea." The 100% Brazilian Instagram account that you stalk "

And the account that inspires you to work out? "For me it would be accounts like @stabmag where I can see kids surfing ridiculously well or guys catching big waves. It makes me feel like I should go and train properly so I can become a great surfer and not die drowning!" 

B&B: Battle of the Forrester Wives!

Bold and the Beautiful writers need a history lesson on OG Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery), it seems. Because Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) spouted off a bunch of nonsense this week. As did Eric Forrester (John McCook). Perhaps they and the writers at CBS daytime need to spend some time watching episodes from back in the day with Stephanie versus Brooke. 

Because, about now, Stephanie must be rolling in her grave over the hypocrisy. Check it out.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Stephanie Forrester Hated Brooke Logan for Decades!

B&B spoilers suspect Stephanie Forrester wouldn’t like Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) any more than she did Brooke Logan. Clearly, Eric likes feisty women. However, Bold and the Beautiful‘s trying to rewrite history and the Forrester matriarch’s past. Because she was volatile and truly hated Brooke – until a change of heart at the end of her life.

Now, Brooke Logan said Stephanie Forrester would be “proud of her” for defending her family. But, longtime Bold and the Beautiful watchers know Stephanie had to defend her family from Brooke all those years. In fact, Stephanie slapped, strangled, and threatened to shoot Brooke Logan many times.

Recall, Brooke Logan slept with both Stephanie’s sons and her husband. And had children with her husband and one son. So, Stephanie Forrester despised Brooke for most of their time on the soap together. She nicknamed Brooke the “sl*t of the valley” and constantly tried to get her out of the Forrester’s lives on Bold and the Beautiful. Then right before she died, the two women finally made amends.

Many old school Bold and the Beautiful viewers must have laughed out loud at some of the recent (and very inaccurate dialogue). Particularly when Eric told Quinn that he expects better of his wife – and that his wife would never act that way. As you can see in the wonderful video tweet above from uber-fan Matt Hanvey, Stephanie Forrester was never one to reign in her emotions.

And, if Stephanie was still alive and Brooke Logan came in her house making demands like that, she’d be lucky to leave with just a slap. Because, Eric’s wife, the OG Forrester matriarch slapped men and women. She blackmailed, shot people, and would shove a b**** over a balcony if she needed to. Fans know Stephanie Forrester didn’t play when it came to defending her family.

Last week’s Bold and the Beautiful had Quinn slap Brooke Logan and tell her “Stephanie taught you how to slap? B**** you should have learned that from me”. That was something Eric’s first wife would have done. Quinn’s ready to teach her a lesson. Whether you’re Team Quinn or Team Brooke, this is getting good. And let’s face it – Brooke Logan’s no saint. She’s a man stealer at heart.

Who Would Stephanie Forrester Side With?

On the most recent B&B, Brooke Logan said the two of them didn’t belong there. referring to Shauna and Quinn. But, Stephanie Forrester made it very clear she didn’t think Brooke belonged in her house back in the day. Remember, it was only at the end of Stephanie Forrester’s life that she and Brooke Logan made nice. And at the end of the day, Quinn makes Eric happy. But Stephanie might hate her too.

If you’re new to Bold and the Beautiful, you may take Brooke Logan’s recent dialogue at face value. But, it contradicts the bulk of the history of the CBS sudser. But, even if you’re in the dark about OG Stephanie or have the same amnesia that seems to strike Eric and Brooke, it’s still very juicy drama. And Stephanie Forrester fans know that she was no shrinking violet.

No doubt, we can expect lots more slaptastic drama between Quinn and Brooke Logan. And, it’ll be interesting to see whose portrait’s over the Forrester fireplace when all’s said and done. However, no matter if you’re rooting for Eric’s current wife or ex-wife, is important to know that Brooke Logan’s fuzzy on her history about Stephanie Forrester. And the B&B writers seem to be too. 

B&B: Brooke Vs. Quinn: Battle of the Bitches!

Brooke is willing to fight for her marriage in these THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL spoilers, but her actions could have unintended consequences! How will Ridge react to her attacking Shauna?

In the interest of trying to salvage his marriage to Brooke, Ridge tries to be as open as possible, even confessing to sharing a kiss with Shauna. “Our friendship crossed a line,” he admits. “We kissed.” Brooke becomes emotional as she fears she’s losing Ridge to the hussy. “I am not going to let Shauna hijack my future with you!” she cries.

However, Quinn doesn’t see any problem with Shauna moving in on Ridge as long as he’s actually single. “If they do end up splitting up,” she suggests to her friend, “you’ll be there to comfort him.” However, when Brooke interrupts their conversation, she takes a stand against the interloper. “Stop throwing yourself at a man who doesn’t want you!” Brooke declares. But Shauna just shrugs and fires back: “That’s funny, because the way he kisses me says otherwise.” That’s the last straw for Brooke, who hauls off and slaps Shauna hard across the face as a stunned Quinn looks on!

Young and the Restless: Foreseeable Future!

A day after NBC solidified the future of Days of Our Lives for another season, CBS has closed a deal to keep its long-running soap, The Young & the Restless, around for the foreseeable future.

The network, in a pact with producer Sony Pictures Television, has renewed Y&R for four additional seasons, taking the daytime series through the 2023-24 broadcast season.

"Having the No. 1 show for any length of time in any daypart is a tremendous accomplishment," CBS Entertainment president Kelly Kahl said Thursday in a statement. “But The Young & the Restless has been daytime’s top drama for over three decades. The last time any other show was on top, Ronald Reagan was president, and the Berlin Wall was still standing. It’s a remarkable achievement and a testament to the extraordinary cast, gifted writers, talented producers and supremely passionate fans, as well as our tremendous partnership with Sony Pictures Television."

Y&R has been a staple of CBS' daytime schedule for an incredible 47 years. The series leads all daytime dramas in total viewers (4.1 million), women 25-54 (1.0) and women 18-49 (0.6) when factoring in seven days of delayed viewing. Anthony Morina executive produces; Josh Griffith is the head writer and co-EP.

The Y&R cast includes Eric Braeden, Melody Thomas Scott, Peter Pergman, Joshua Morrow, Sharon Case and Bryton James, all of whom have been with the series for at least 15 years — and in Braeden's case, nearly 40.

The long-term renewal arrives as the future of daytime soap operas has been in question over the past few years as networks grapple with rising costs and dwindling viewers and as syndicated talk shows often are cheaper to produce.

The Young and the Restless Renew thru 2024!

CBS has renewed its long-running top daytime drama The Young and the Restless for four more years, taking it through 2024.

The massive, straight-forward  renewal of The Young and the Restless, from Sony Pictures Television, stands in contrast with the dramatic, down-to-the-wire one-season renewal for the Sony TV-distributed daytime drama Days Of Our Lives at NBC which was finally completed and announced yesterday after months of negotiations.

With the renewal, The Young and the Restless joins its companion in the CBS daytime lineup, the CBS TV Studios-backed soap The Bold and the Beautiful, which is a year into a three-year pickup through the 2022.

The Young and the Restless currently leads all other daytime dramas in viewers (4.11 million), women 25-54 (1.0) and women 18-49 (0.6).

Despite challenging economics triggered by declining linear TV ratings in all day parts, all three broadcast daytime dramas are set to return next season. Sony TV co-produces Days Of Our Lives, renewed for a 56th season, with Corday Productions.
