Sally Spectra Faking Illness To Win Wyatt Back!
#1 Drama Series in the world: tell that of all the things to play with our emotions over, this is by far the most unexpected given how they really played it up. We admit, ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers didn’t see this coming. It was set up so awesomely that we legitimately thought Sally Spectra was dying. As it turns out (Spoilers ahead), she’s perfectly healthy and this is a ploy to get Wyatt Spencer back.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers were curious what doctor would come to a patient’s home to force them to come clean and tell their boyfriend about what she was going through. It didn’t make any sense unless they were old friends. Guess what? They are.
Sally Spectra Faking!
"Dr. Escobar" is really Penny, according to Sally. After Sally broke Wyatt without much effort — seriously, this guy had to have been adopted. There’s no way he’s Bill Spencer (Don Diamont)’s blood relation. Anyway, after cracking Wyatt like an egg, Sally requested he let her and Dr. Escobar have a moment alone. Of course, she made him do a song and dance to prove he cares about her and isn’t just feeling sorry for her. Talk about a puppet act.
Once alone, Sally threw off her blanket, leaped to her feet, and went full on psycho, challenging Penny as to what she thought she was doing. Penny (Escobar or another last name now?) countered by saying Sally shouldn’t toy with Wyatt’s emotions. Sally spilled the beans about having a long life ahead of her, which actually made Thomas Forrester (Mathew Atkinson) look like less of a sleaze. Bet Rat Face will love that when he finds out.
As mentioned above, this was largely unexpected because Sally had sold it so well. We all mostly thought she was a goner without a miracle cure — which happens to be fullofsh-tness. Instead, she was playing everyone.
More than going after Wyatt, she knew who to target in Katie Logan (Heather Tom). With Penny working there (‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers assumes, anyway), it would’ve been easy for her to organize her appointment to be there when Katie was. And knowing Katie’s inability to keep something so serious secret was a calculated gamble, but it paid off perfectly.
The downside to this storyline is how it mirrors Thomas’ so closely. While he hated what he was doing and cheering on Sally hooked us, the fact they each have someone that helped them get things rolling, and now telling them they shouldn’t do this is annoyingly repetitive.
There was a spoiler/rumor a while back that Wyatt and Sally are expected to marry while she’s on her deathbed. Guess that’s when the fullofsh-tness cure is injected. Of course, it won’t be that simple. She’ll somehow pull through and start showing improvement, and that’s where Penny will come to a crossroads where she’ll have to choose between her friend and her integrity.
Penny is the new Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Hopefully, we’ll be in for more unforeseen twists and turns and not a rehash of a recent storyline. Check back with ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
