Jean Paul Gaultier end 50 Years of Fashion...

All eyes were on Jean-Paul Gaultier's Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2020 show in Paris today—it was his 50th anniversary show and, as he announced on Twitter, his last. Never one to shy away from theatrics, Gaultier’s swan song was a spectacular medley of music, dance, and fashion. A scene from William Klein’s Who Are You, Polly Maggoo? played just before Karlie Kloss opened up a black, spiked coffin (the spikes resembled Madonna’s famous conical bra, it’s worth noting) in which a babydoll dress-clad Issa Lish emerged.

There was corsetry, a live orchestra, Boy George, male ballerinas, BĂ©atrice Dalle smoking a cigarette, an Irish-dancing Coco Rocha, and revivals of his greatest, most fantastical hits over his five-decades-long career. Click through for every single look from his final collection.
