General Hospital Continue Bleeding..........

As has become the norm, ABC didn’t announce if General Hospital had been renewed for another year but the show wasn’t cancelled either. They just kept it on the air. The network did cancel The Chew (which replaced All My Children in 2011) so they could expand the Good Morning America brand with GMA Day. Clearly, the ABC execs aren’t afraid to shake up the status quo again. Will General Hospital survive to see a 57th season for the 2019-20 broadcast season? How will it do in the ratings? Stay tuned.
Robin Strasser
Daytime Icon, Robin Strasser who is best known for playing Another World's Rachel Davies and One Life to Live as Dorian Cramer Lord helped NBC's Days of Our Lives beat the struggling ABC's General Hospital.
For the second time in three weeks (and only the fourth time since 2011), DAYS topped General Hospital in  both total viewers (2.076 million to 1.990 million) and in households (1.52/6-1.51/6). In addition, DAYS jumped to #3 in the key demos, women 18-49 (2nd consecutive week) and women 18-34. The ratings for the past month have featured more changes than Vivian has wigs on Days of Our Lives . . . if you don't watch DAYS, you should, and Robin Strasser's Vivian has A LOT of wig changes. Long story short, the ratings game has been anything but boring. Let's get into it.
