She’s been away from her beloved daytime for several years — ever since One Life to Live left the airwaves in 2013 — but now Robin Strasser is back and hoping that her fans will support her and daytime so another show won’t suffer OLTL’s fate.
Best Known for her work on NBC's Another World in the Sixties and Seventies when she played Rachel Davies...than became known as Dorian Cramer on One Life to Live in the Eighties til the show was cancelled. She also appeared on two other daytime dramas, Passions and All My Children.
The Daytime Emmy-award winning actress has taken over the role of Vivian on Days of Our Lives from good pal Louise Sorel for a story arc, and she took to Twitter to share her thoughts about what the return means to her and how she needs her fans to help make a difference.
“Never watched my own performances-Never did-Never will. I’m self-critical-hard on myself-so really there’s no win in my watching but YOU? THAT’s a different story! Let’s show them what loyal steadfast fans can do to ratings of 1 of the 4 #NetworkSoaps left-#DOOL #SupportThe4 plz?”
While Strasser certainly was always able to work her magic whenever she returned as Dorian on OLTL, it’s hard to say if that will translate to her legion of fans following her to her new role — but if they do, it could go a long way to either expanding her role on DAYS or even bringing Dorian to Port Charles and General Hospital.
