One Directions Star: Liam Payne goes Nude!

Liam Payne has ensured our week has started with a bang after stripping naked for a new Hugo Boss shoot the singer has compared to "soft-core porn".

Former One Direction star Liam, 26, has shed the clothes to promote his new collaboration with Hugo Boss, the Hugo x Liam Payne bodywear collection, in a jaw-dropping shoot by Mert Atlas and Mac Piggott.

The steamy images see Liam sporting the new underwear range and posing completely nude in a hotel room as model (and world's luckiest lady) Stella Maxwell is draped across him.

In an exclusive interview with GQ Hype, Liam admits his first professional nude shoot got "very raunchy very quickly", and that he wasn't expecting the campaign to get quite so revealing.

"I hadn’t been properly warned about the amount of nudity Mert and Marcus do in their work, let's say," he says.

"And there was a real hollow moment afterwards where I was sitting outside smoking a cigarette thinking, ''I have basically just shot soft-core porn.'"

He adds: "For one, my mum is going to kill me. For another thing, I don’t know how far this is going to go... That was just the first shot! It was a lot of fun to shoot but my mum wasn’t best pleased.

"There’s this really raunchy shot of me and Stella, and I showed my mum. She took one look at it and gave me a clip round the ear. All I was thinking was, “I better not tell her about the London buses!”

One Direction’s Liam Payne dropped his debut album LP1 earlier this month and the verdict is in: despite a heavy promotional campaign, the album is somewhere between a bomb and a dud.

Not only did LP1 fail to hit the UK top 10, which is pretty crazy considering that just a few years ago Payne was one of the biggest pop stars in the country, but it only reached #111 on the US Billboard charts. It has also received mixed reviews by the few critics who have bothered to write anything about it.

Much of this could be due to the blowback Payne received for the album’s tenth track, “Both Ways,” which details a sexual encounter with a man and two women.

Upon hearing the song, many fans accused the singer of perpetuating passé stereotypes often attached bisexual people, particularly bisexual women. Soon, the hashtag #liampayneisoverparty began trending on Twitter. And Payne struggled to mitigate the fallout.

In an interview with BBC, he said “Both Ways” was about being open-minded in the “world of ‘love is love’.”

“People [are] becoming much more understanding about the way love is,” he said. “And rightly so.” He then added that, while many people are becoming more open-minded about sex, he’s never actually had a threesome before, but “it was an interesting song to write.”

Meanwhile, Payne’s former One Direction bandmate, Harry Styles, also released an album this month, which topped the charts. After Styles’ sophomore album Fine Line recently reached #1 on the Billboard 200, selling over 400,000 copies and amassing nearly 110 million streams, Payne kept things classy by taking to Instagram to congratulate him.

“Massive congrats H, on becoming the first UK Male artist to debut at No. 1 with your first two albums!” he wrote. “What an achievement, you must be over the moon.”

All I've ever heard about models is that they all live together in big model flats, where they bitch about each other, judge each other's eating habits and pull dirty tricks to fuck with each other's chances at castings – like putting hot pepper in a flatmate's pillowcase. Models, in my mind, are beautiful, beautiful shells of human beings, who live in a world where they never have to think for themselves and take a line of coke instead of a Danish for breakfast.

To see if I was correct in my preconceptions, I get in touch with Rafael Beutl. The 31-year-old Swiss has been working as a model for the past six years, and he also took part in the Mister Switzerland competition in 2010. He suggests that we meet at the five-star hotel Kameha Grand in Zurich. We sit down at the shisha lounge – complete with Persian carpets and expensive vases – and he orders a green tea for me before we start.

Can you do anything besides model?
Rafael Beutl: I am a carpenter, a qualified fitness instructor and I have worked in sales. And I'm building some experience as a panel moderator. So yes, I dare say I have some skills besides modelling. I would also like to get into personal coaching someday. Interpersonal skills are my strong suit – I can be quite empathetic.
Have you ever exploited your good looks opportunistically?Not consciously, no. But they do say that beautiful people have it easier in life and it's possible that some things came easier to me because of my looks. But good looks are not everything – the way you behave and approach others counts, too. And life hasn't always been easy for me, either.
Do you think you're handsome?
I don't think I'm super handsome, no. But I have come to accept myself the way I am. Having said that, I'm not always happy with the way I look. There's always something to improve here or there, but that's not a bad thing. We have to keep working on ourselves, much like we work on our relationships.

You probably don't have much of a brain to speak of, right? People like to accuse models of that, yes. I'm often treated like a clothes hanger. Of course, as a model, you are quite literally a clothes hanger – you're a means to an end. You need to stand there, focus and pull yourself together in order to present the clothes in the best possible way. A lot of people are involved in a fashion shoot and each of them has an opinion – the marketing people, the stylists, the photographer. If a model starts to butt in too, then no work will get done.
So, as a model you just have to get over yourself in those situations and be okay with being just a clothes hanger. That's not always easy, because we all want validation. Getting praise in my line of work is rare – the only praise you might get at the end of the day is that they think you're easy to work with. So it's important to find your balance within yourself. What was the question again?

Whether you have a brain.Oh, right. I think it's really just the job that makes models look dumb.
When was the last time you did a line?A line of coke? There are models who take drugs, but I'm happy to say that I was never in that scene. I only started modelling when I was 25, when I wasn't very vulnerable to those kinds of temptations anymore. But most models, especially women, start when they're 16. They're so young and have never had any money for themselves before. Suddenly they're offered everything at parties – alcohol, pills, a few lines of coke.
I don't do that, but I have my own sins. I've always been fascinated with everything having to do with health, sports and fitness, and I've experimented a lot with that, often excessively. I ate nothing but cucumbers for a while.


How are you in bed? Are you worried you'll mess up your hair at all?My performance in bed can only be judged by the people who've experienced it. I am a bit of a director in bed – I have a lot of fantasies I want to bring to life. That makes my sex life exciting to me and so far, I think my partners have also enjoyed it. That's all I'll say about it.

Are you a narcissist?I think we're all a bit narcissistic in the sense that we all yearn for approval. We can't survive without it. So yes, I am a bit of a narcissist. You have to love yourself and be close to yourself.
How do you feel about the superficiality you represent?The media feed on superficiality, that's just the reality we have to face. It's sad, but that's why I put a lot of work into coming across as authentic as possible.

Would you agree that as a model, you're part of a culture that can make people feel so bad about themselves that some develop eating disorders? Certainly. But to be honest, I think the way people portray themselves on social media is much worse. YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and blogs have pushed people's love for self portraits to new levels. It has always existed – kings would have themselves pictured in battle or slaying beasts. But these days everyone can show themselves in whatever way they want.
Because we constantly post stuff about ourselves online, life passes us by. I have been through that phase myself but I've managed to disentangled myself a little now. I don't just post "perfect" shots of myself anymore – I also post pictures of nature or other things that matter to me in life.

Would you ever date someone who's not that pretty?Absolutely! I've had many experiences with people who might not be considered conventionally pretty at first sight. I don't care as long as someone has the right personality for me and we have a good time.

The latest B&B spoilers confirm Thomas Forrester’s back next week and reveals himself to Hope Logan. It’s midweek when he creeps up on Hope and stuns her. She’s mired in guilt, certain she killed him. Earlier in the week, Hope Logan wants to reveal what she did to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

But her mom, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), blocks her and shuts that talk down. So when Thomas Forrester shows up on Wednesday on Bold and the Beautiful, spoilers say he knows the Logan ladies lied. They covered up what Hope Logan thinks she did. And Thomas Forrester’s got a plan to make them both pay.
Right now, Hope Logan’s sure she killed Thomas Forrester. She didn’t but he can still use the accident to his advantage. So, you can be sure he makes threats and won’t give up on his revenge agenda. So, Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Thomas makes a point to Hope about what he can do to wreck her life..

Then, his dad tells Douglas good news.

He and Hope Logan tell his son that she’s officially his new mommy. But why would Thomas Forrester do that after Hope shoved him into a vat of acid? It’s because that’s not what happened at all. Of course, Hope had no idea that Thomas was setting her up for a fall by taking a fall himself on Bold and the Beautiful.

The big reveal, hint B&B spoilers for next week, is how Thomas Forrester pulled this off. First, it seems clear that he drained the vat of acid earlier than the workers planned. Then, he refilled it with water, so it was safe for him to dive into. With that done beforehand, Thomas Forrester was ready for his special evening with Hope Logan.

Now, Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease this might all have been one big scam on Hope. Because Thomas knew she was lying and was never going to give him what he wanted. Unless he put a real scare into her. So, after tucking Douglas out of the way, it was easy for him to chase Hope in the right direction to the catwalk.

  

Plus, he’s a big guy. So, there’s no way she shoved him over the edge. Instead, it seems like an intentional tumble. After faking his death, he could lurk around in the hazmat suit and chase her away. Remember the guy that told her to leave the area? It was easy to recognize Thomas Forrester’s voice if you listened carefully.

Then, he just had to wait until Hope Logan drove herself mad with grief. Now, he can show back up and blackmail her to be part of his life or else. Wait to see exactly what Thomas Forrester wants as payback. But it’s pretty clear what he wants. Will Hope Logan cave to Thomas’ threats? Wait to see on the CBS sudser.

DAYS OF OUR LIVES Renewed for 56th Season!

Days of Our Lives is not going anywhere. The network has renewed its longest-running series for a 56th season, I have learned. I hear Days executive producer Ken Corday of Corday Prods., which produces the daytime drama, just delivered the news to the cast.

NBC and Sony TV had no comment. though I had been hearing for the lastpweek or so that renewal was “looking good.” According to sources, the deal with the network is not completely done but is close.The cost-cutting move came during the annual renewal window between NBC and Days distributor Sony Pictures TV; a renewal for Days typically comes at the start of the year. Negotiations for another season of the show on NBC, which had been underway, likely got accelerated by fan outcry over the news of contract releases.

After a big wave of cancellations of daytime soaps, the genre had been stable for the past few years with the four remaining series: NBC’s Days of Our Lives, ABC’s General Hospital and CBS’ The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful. Like any network programming, soaps have come under economic pressure amid declining linear ratings...

Days of Our Lives, which has aired more than 13,725 episodes, premiered as a half-hour drama in 1965 and expanded to an hour 10 years later. The show has garnered 61 Daytime Emmy Awards, as well as multiple People’s Choice Awards, GLAAD Media Awards and Prism Awards.


Set in the fictitious Midwestern town of Salem, Days of our Lives airs nationally on NBC in the United States and in more than 25 countries internationally. The core families are the Bradys, Hortons and DiMeras, and the multi-layered storylines involve elements of romance, adventure, mystery, comedy and drama.

DOOL is wrapping its 55th season this month. Though NBC has eight months of DOOL episodes in the can, panic recently set in that the actors could be out of work for a while if NBC doesn’t close a deal soon with Sony Pictures Television, which distributes the show. Negotiations, however, were already underway, so the worry over the actors being out of work was unfounded.

Still, it’s rather easy to assume the worst these days when it comes to the health of daytime dramas. Viewership isn’t what it used to be for sudsers, even though fans still love their DOOL, General Hospital, Young and the Restless, and Bold and the Beautiful.
Anyway, Corday Productions continues to build upon the DOOL brand. On Wednesday the company announced that it is launching a new DOOL app series that will reunite nine characters from the 2000 season for new digital series.
