Aussie model Jarrod Scott: ‘It’s not odd knowing everyone’s seen me naked’

AUSSIE supermodel Jarrod Scott has no qualms about posing full frontal nude for fashion and art spreads — here are his tips for wannabe models.

AUSTRALIAN supermodel Jarrod Scott is as fearless as they come, even posing full-frontal nude for art and fashion spreads — and he says it doesn’t faze him one bit.

The New York-based Aussie is listed in the top 10 male models, up there with the likes of David Gandy and Andres Velencoso.

The previous GQ Man of Style has stoked controversy in the past with a near-full-frontal Vogue Hommes cover, so we had to ask him about his reputation for baring all — surely it must be a slightly nerve-racking experience posing for shots like this?!

“I don’t approach a shoot differently if it’s a nude shoot or a fashion shoot. I don’t see why I’d need to prepare mentally for a nude shoot — why would I feel awkward being in my own skin?” he told us.

“For me, it’s not odd at all knowing that so many people have seen me naked — it’s the human body, we all have a one,” he reasoned.
And in an Instagram age when everyone’s a (wannabe) model, Scott has a little advice for anyone keen to flash the flesh themselves.

“In general for everyone, models or not, I’d save shooting nude for something special. My advice would be to make sure that it’s tasteful and not vulgar and to make sure that you’re comfortable with being naked in front of the photographer — otherwise it will show in the pics,” he said.
