It was revealed this week that James Franco is currently working on porn drama film King Cobra – which will be based on the murder of Cobra Videos filmmaker Bryan Kocis in 2007.

However, the real Corrigan/Lockhart has revealed that he will have no involvement in the film, adding that the events and murder “are still very real and raw for me”.
In a post to Facebook, Corrigan said: “The internet has been a buzz regarding some recent news that a movie is being filmed right now in New York State chronicling the Bryan Kocis murder and the early days of my adult career.
“I was originally approached to be a part of the film as a consultant and the cast. I was asked to play a small part in the film and declined the role.

“It’s going to be an exciting coming year! The book is nearly finished and is now going through edits and rewrites. Even with the time that has passed, the memories are still very real and raw for me.
“I look forward to finally telling my story, beginning middle and end, with an earnest stroke. Thanks for being so patient, everyone!” Kocis, the owner of porn company Cobra Video which boasted Corrigan on its roster, was stabbed to death by two escorts at his Pennsylvania home in January 2007.

Lockhart testified for the prosecution at trial of killers Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes, explaining disputes within the industry over the use of the ‘Brent Corrigan’ stage name.
