UFC Champion Makes Fashion Debut For V Mag

UFC champion (and total hottie) Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson has made his fashion debut in a photo spread and interview for V Magazine‘s latest issue (V110). If you don’t know him, Thompson is a mixed martial artist ranked number 2 in the UFC’s welterweight rankings, and is someone to certainly get on your radar—he was just signed to IMG for modeling. The champ was lensed by Bruce Weber and styled by Paul Cavaco for the spread, although he’s wearing very little clothing in the steamy images.
In the interview with William Norwich, the writer asked Thompson, “When this story comes out and you look gorgeous, photographed by Bruce Weber, you will officially be one of America’s new sex symbols—are you prepared? You’ll be worshiped by women and by more than just a few guys. Is that okay?” Thompson replied, “Yes, it is okay. To be out there in the light, that’s what I like to call it—the light—that’s what I want. To set a good example and be a positive influence for any of the people who will look up to me, like you said, the women and also the men. Yes, I think I’m prepared.”
