Excited to announce that "The Bold and the Beautiful" has won the 2017
Golden Nymph Award in the category of International TV Audience Awards
for Best Telenovela/Soap Opera!
On
June 16, I learned that “The Bold and the Beautiful” had been
nominated for a 2017 Golden Nymph Award at Monte Carlo’s annual
Television Festival.
The nomination is in the category of International
TV Audience Awards – Best Telenovela/Soap Opera, and their fellow
nominees in the category are “Beni Affet” from Turkey, and “Peri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi (I Love Only You)” from India.
The
official Instagram account for the festival shared the news that plans
are in place for a behind the scenes documentary screening, a question
and answer session, as well as a ‘selfie session’ with “B&B.” Gilles Marini who will be a part of a location shoot for those involved according to ET online who
reported, "The glamorous expedition will also feature a sexy swimwear
fashion show challenge, pitting Forrester Creations against the
up-and-coming Spectra Fashions."
They also shared a photo from Monte
Carlo, where they had arrived in anticipation of the awards ceremony and
activities surrounding the festival. In the post, Kruger enthused, “So
excited to be coming back to beautiful Monte Carlo this year for the
@festivaltvmonte_carlo!!! Congrats #boldandthebeautiful on another
nomination!”
Additionally, actor Justin Hartley,
formerly Adam Newman on “B&B’s” sister soap, “The Young and the
Restless,” is slated to walk the red carpet at the Monte Carlo
Television Awards this year.
The
57th Monte-Carlo Television Festival, which was founded in 1961 and
showcases television productions and some of the best actors from around
the world, runs from Friday June 16 through Tuesday June 20. More than
thirty countries are represented each year.
