Kayne want to be Creative Director of Hermes!

Kayne West must be DREAMING!!
 Kanye West is serious about fashion. He thinks he Knows fashion! So serious, in fact, that the rap star turned fashion designer announced goals to helm the design at esteemed French ready-to-wear and accessories house Hermes.

West made the declaration at New York Fashion Week to a packed house at Madison Square Garden, whose audience was there to view his latest Yeezy collection as well hear songs from his new album. He told the crowd about this, referencing a conversation he had backstage with Conde Nast artistic director and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. "I told this to Anna [Wintour] backstage, my dream is to be the creative director of Hermès," West told the crowd, and an additional  20 Million people watching the live stream of the event on Tidal. The crowed roared once again, spurring West to react asking, "Oh that's a bad idea?" 

 

Nadége Vanhee-Cybulski is the current creative director of Hermès. The brand didn't respond to a request for comment by press time.
West narrated the Vanessa Beecroft-designed performance art piece, where models stood center stage at MSG (some taking breaks to sit in between songs and West's hour-plus oration). "I just want to bring as much beauty to the word as possible...I'm only 38 years old."

 

West also announced plans to reduce prices on his collection, "We're gonna lower prices," he said. "That's just learning curves [sic] whenever you start [a brand]."
