Let it shine! Anna Wintour dazzles in contrasting
floral prints on front row of Giambattista Valli's haute couture show in
Paris...
She's been editor-in-chief of American Vogue since 1988.
And
on Monday Anna Wintour reminded the world why as she shimmered in
contrasting patterns on the front row of Giambattista Valli's haute
couture show at Paris Fashion Week.
The
66-year-old fashion legend wore a long skirt with an abstract floral
pattern, and offset the busy design with a simpler black coat with
purple and green flourishes inspired by nature.
Her dark top was the perfect backdrop for her stunning necklace: a chunky number boasting blue, orange and green gems.
Those jewels matched the light blue lining of her coat, visible as she leaned to the side.
Anna, who is known to have her manicured bob professionally blow-dried every morning, did not have a hair out of place.
Her brunette bangs fell to her perfectly sculpted eyebrows, and her hair curled gently at the neck.
Anna
radiated warmth, partly because of her frequent smiles and also because
of her rosy cheeks and inviting shade of cherry red lipstick.
Giambattista
Valli - who has dressed the likes of Zoe Saldana, Sarah Jessica Parker
and Reese Witherspoon - attracted plenty of other A-listers to his show,
including Colin Firth's wife Livia.
The
46-year-old wore a white polka dot dress with 3D butterflies and
flowers, and carried a small grey handbag with a chain strap.
In
September Livia and Anna rubbed shoulders at the Green Carpet
Challenge, which works to raise awareness around sustainability in
fashion - a cause Livia has supported for years.
