Interview with Josh Truesdell

 

Aloha to Wahiawa Hawaii native Josh Truesdell, a favorite of Bruce Weber and a Ralph Lauren regular. We’re winding down the week with some random questions for Josh, who was clever enough to give us some very funny answers. Let’s get to it…

What was your first modeling job ever? VMan
Where are we least likely to find you? The South Pole
Who are your best male model buddies?Cory Bond and Gary Tonon
What would we be surprised to know about you? I’m always on the go.

 

What’s your guilty pleasure? I don’t really ever feel guilty. I try to only do things that give me pleasure.
What scares you? Not doing everything within my power to be the best I can be at everything I do.
What do you always eat? Fish.

What was your best and worst subject in school? Math was my jam…and no hablo espanol.
What kind of student were you in high school? A nerd! I thought I was so cool, but really I was just a dork that was good at sports.
What’s your least favorite food?  McDonald’s. Does that count as food?
When are you in the best mood? When I’m winning in one of my Brazilian Jiu Jitsu matches.
When are you in the worst mood? When I’m losing in one of my Brazilian Jiu Jitsu matches.
Who do you admire most in the world? My grandfather. He just has it all figured out.

 

What’s your favorite smell? That pre-thunderstorm air.
What’s your greatest fear? Being mediocre.
Any secret talents?  I love playing the ukulele.
Where do travel to most? Beaches. Doesn’t matter where the beach is. If there’s sand and an ocean, I’m there.
What word do you say too much? I curse a bit too much…
Where do you think you’ll retire? On my boat.
What action hero is your favorite? The Hulk
