10 Reasons DALLAS must Return!

10 Reasons “Dallas” Needs To Be Saved From Cancellation

TNT didn’t cancel Dallas without leaving its fans with a few unanswered questions and unresolved cliffhangers.
We didn't get to meet J.R.'s secret daughter.

1. We didn’t get to meet J.R.’s secret daughter.

Now we’ll never know who she ends up sleeping with, blackmailing, double-crossing, marrying, divorcing, drugging, kidnapping, re-marrying, and/or shooting.
2. More importantly, we don’t know who J.R.’s daughter’s mother is.
Cally Harper? Mandy Winger? Sly Lovegren? Holly Harwood? Katherine Wentworth? Afton Cooper van Buren? Marilee Stone? Julie Grey? Louella Caraway? Serena Wald? Michelle Stevens? Laurel Ellis? Leslie Stewart? Kimberly Cryder? Vanessa Beaumont? Mavis Anderson? Abby Fairgate Cunningham Ewing Sumner???

3. We don’t know who the father of Elena’s baby is.

Either way, you know it’s going to be one good-looking baby.

4. We don’t know if Christopher survived the car explosion.

Sure, he probably died a fiery death, but how do we know he didn’t survive, only to be wrapped up like a mummy and secretly die of pancreatic cancer just like his adoptive mother? Or better yet, drown in the Southfork pool high on PCP like his birth mother?
We didn't get the see the return of Katherine Wentworth.

5. We didn’t get the see the return of Katherine Wentworth.

Because there’s no way she’s really dead.

6. We didn’t get to see Cliff Barnes finally get his revenge.

He can’t end up in a Mexican prison!
We didn't get to see Cliff Barnes finally get his revenge.

7. We didn’t get to see John Ross team up with Judith Light.

Now we’ll never know who’s the boss.
We didn't get to see that alternate-reality episode wherein we see what would have happened had the infamous "dream season" not been a dream.

8. We didn’t get to see that alternate-reality episode wherein we see what would have happened had the infamous “dream season” not been a dream.

Alright, they never promised us this, but wouldn’t it make a cool stand-alone episode?
