Oscar Pistorius' Thierry Mugler Fragrance Ads Pulled

By now the world has heard of Oscar Pistorius, the "blade runner" Olympian who allegedly shot his girlfriend to death on Valentine's Day.
But as Pistorius' trial wears on, the fashion world will actually be seeing less of Pistorius: His Thierry Mugler fragrance ads have been pulled.
Women's Wear Daily reports that Groupe Clarins, which owns the Thierry Mugler brand, has withdrawn from its partnership with Pistorius. "Out of respect and compassion for the families implicated in this tragedy," a rep told WWD, "Thierry Mugler Perfumes has taken the decision to withdraw all its campaigns with Oscar Pistorius."
Thierry Mugler is the third brand to distance itself from Pistorius after Oakley and Nike suspended ties to the Olympic runner.
Pistorius has been working with Thierry Mugler since 2011 when he first shot an ad for Thierry Mugler A*MEN. He also posed for A*Men Pure Shot, a special edition fragrance released in honor of the London Olympics last year.
