Tom Ford Believes That Sex Sells:Uses penis to sell his products
At the risk that it might be too early in the day for nekkid penis, I
feel incumbent to share a completely NSFW image (courtesy of Made In Brazil) from the Tom Ford Spring ad campaign that was shot by photographer Terry Richardson and features the fully frontally nude Brazilian model Alex Schultz:
Much like the Abercrombie & Fitch philosophy that one can sell more clothing by featuring hot, nekkid models in your ad campaigns, Tom Ford
seems pretty confident that a lack of clothing on the right person
might inspire shoppers to buy his designs. Eh, who am I to judge?
After the jump, check out the TOTALLY NSFW uncensored image above …
And here you have it, Alex Schultz in all his tanned/untanned glory:
This isn’t the first Tom Ford ad to feature the very nekkid Alex Schultz, from this ad campaign that feature Alex
and his penis (there are also nekkid woman parts, too).
While I don’t
really believe that this idea to feature nudity to sell clothing
actually works, I can agree that the controversial nature of the ad
campaign does give the designer more attention which may, therefore,
lead to a real interest in the clothing.
In any event, I’m all for this
ad philosophy … it’s about time that p33n be used for the betterment of
mankind, er, in a new way that is ;)What do y’all think … is p33n the way to sell clothes or not?
