Khloe Kardashian And Kris Jenner Struggled Most With Bruce Jenner’s Transition: What Kris Knew.
When Bruce Jenner told his children about his transgender journey before his interview with Diane Sawyer, Khloe Kardashian struggled the most to accept the change, reported Bustle.
Burt, Brandon, Brody, and Cassandra are Jenner’s biological offspring, all of whom supported their dad.
But when it came to the Keeping Up with the Kardashian
clan who have starred in their reality TV show with their stepfather,
Bruce shocked viewers when he named Khloe as the one who had the most
difficulty.
“You would think out of all of the kids, Khloe was like, the most
fun, open-minded, ‘yeah let’s go party.’ That’s not the case with
Khloe,” reflected Bruce.
Why the difference for the young woman? Showing his insight into the
character of his step-daughter, Bruce pointed to the losses that she has
experienced, from father Rob Kardashian to ex Lamar Odom.
“She’s had the toughest time with it, because she’s had a lot of losses in her life. She lost her father at a young age. He died suddenly — cancer. And Lamar had his issues.”
In addition, Bruce revealed that Khloe viewed him as her male role model.
“She feels like this massive, ‘my whole life’s falling apart. It’s my
dad.’ And I’m trying to explain that I can’t argue that point, but I’m
not going anywhere, I’m still going to be there for you,” emphasized
Bruce.
Although Khloe struggled personally, in public she shared complete
support for Jenner by using Twitter to share her pride throughout the
interview.
“Just finished watching the #BruceJennerInterview with the family. Bruzer, I’m soooo proud of you! Dads really are heroes.”
In addition, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Kendall Jenner all expressed their pride and support, as the Inquisitr reported.
“I’m so proud of you, Dad. You are so brave. My beautiful Hero,” posted Kylie.
“It shook her,” revealed Bruce. “[But she is a] good person.”
As for precisely what Kris knew before the interview, Jenner revealed
that it was impossible to hide the changes in his body after he started
taking hormones.
“You can’t hide those things,” Bruce admitted.
In addition, when she learned that he liked to wear women’s clothes,
she would ask him to change to men’s attire when she saw him in female
clothes.
“I downplayed it,” Bruce recalled. “I feel in a lot of ways when you love someone you don’t want to hurt them.”
