-Hello
Elbio, I'm really flattered you accepted
to be interviewed for my Blog!, just to start this
interview off please give me some background information.
Ciao Christopher!... is a pleasure thank you. So I was born in Milan 28 years ago, my father is Italian and my mother is Argentinean. I grew up in Milano but I've always travelled a lot in Argentina since I was a little kid cause the big part of my family is down there. I speak currently Italian and Spanish. When I was a kid I studied at the French school then moved to an Italian secondary school. I did my university studies in Milan and Sydney (Australia) where I took my degree in economics. After an internship in a advertising agency as an account I understood that working behind a laptop wasn't really my story so I quit and started to work as a model. At that time I was more or less 24 so quite "old" to start modeling but now I can tell it was a lot better for me. I think is no good to start modeling too early. I love the fashion system but in my opinion some things can be too big for a little guy.
-
How did you start your modeling career? It was in February during the "women" fashion week... I was partying every night at that time and in one week I was asked 3 times if wanted to start modeling. The third one was Matteo Montanari, that is now a well known photographer, at the begin of his career. He gave me his number and a few weeks later I called him and everything started... Is funny cause me and Matteo are very good friends now.

-Do you remember your first photo shoot? Who was the
photographer? My first photo
shoot was for GQ... can t remember the photographer
oops...

-And which fashion designer was your first fashion show for?
My first fashion show was for Dolce and Gabbana a few seasons ago and I've always done it since that time. It is the only show that I still feeling a bit nervous before entering the catwalk... But it has always been good fun though.

-Which do you prefer doing:
runway shows, editorials, catalog jobs? Basically
I love everything because I really love my job but if
I have to choose something it would be the shootings
for sure.
- Your favorite female model?
Cindy Crawford

What is your favorite sport and how often do you play it?
I love to train a I do it also 2 times a day, in the morning and then later on in the afternoon. I don't really do it for being in good shape or just for a nice body, I do it basically because I love to feel that I am a machine. I love to train hard and my favourite sport is boxing. Till last year I used to boxe almost everyday, wherever I was. I've looked for boxing gyms everywhere I travelled the most (Milan, Paris, New York, London) so that I could train constantly. Now I'm doing more weights (which are no good for boxing cause you loose speed) and cross fit (which I enjoy a lot). You know boxing is not really good for my job eheheh, I had to slow down with it a little bit. I remember one time I arrived to a job with a big black eye. That wasn't very professional, pretty funny though. But when I have a minute I always spare with my mates. Is getting addicted after a while, just impossible to stop boxing completely. The problem is that I also love to eat and to party hard so beside all this training basically I also like to enjoy my life.

-What is your favorite
holiday destination?
My favourite holiday destination is Ibiza. I simply love this island. I love electronic music, party with my friends, going to the beach. There's no place in the world with that energy. I love Ibiza there's nothing more to say.
-What kind of music do you like? Current favorite song?
My favourite singer is Vasco Rossi, which is a rock star very famous in Italy. He is not really a kid anymore (60 years old a few weeks ago) but I grew up with his songs and no music has never touched me as his. I have been to a lot of his concert it has always been incredible. My favourite songs are "Vita Spericolata" and "Va bene cosi". I also love a song of another Italian singer which is called Jovanotti. The song is called "a te" and, in my opinion, is the most beautiful love song that has never been written. Apart from Vasco I like 80s rock n roll.. Gun 'N Roses, AC/DC, Metallica (especially when I work out).
-Thanks Elbio, for taking the time to reply to my questions, it was a gift for me and my readers! Thank you Christopher....
