World Premiere Interview: SuperModel Jacob Neely

With his GQ good looks and have appeared in numerous Menswear magazines and Menswear shows, Jacob Neely have been seen everywhere. With his busy schedule and mine, I have known the masculine Jacob for nearly fours years and yes, I been waiting to get him into my menswear collection. This time it will happen in next week! With a World Premiere interview with Jacob Neely, I will be asking him several personal questions, plus his modeling career.
Tell me about yourself?

I am 26, originally born in Sacramento, CA. Grew up as an Air Force brat and was always traveling since a young age. My favorite place I ever lived was right outside of Ramstein AFB, Germany in a king's old hunting house on acres of forest. Growing up I loved playing baseball, art (drawing, painting, sculpting), science, fitness, entrepreneurship, and music. I feel very fortunate to have developed those talents into things I am still doing today and continually working on.
Where are you originally from and why did u move to Manhattan?

Right after I finished school at USF studying psychology, I had a serious intuition that New York would foster all of my dreams and ambition. So far my intuition has led me in the right direction :)
How did u get yourself as the popular male model in the industry?

I never really thought of myself as being super popular, but I guess my passion for what I do really comes out in my work.

What designer would you love to work with and why?

I've always had a dream to wear some underwear for CK or a suit for Giorgio Armani - who knows just my favorite brands!

What is it like working in the Modeling industry, is it hard to do be a male model?

Well I would say that since modeling is such a subjective industry, that yes it is hard to be a male model simply because of this. For instance, one agent/agency might have a skewed perception of you as a model - whereas another agent/agency might be so overwhelmingly excited to represent you and book you work. Speaking for myself, I am very thankful to be able to work as a model in NYC and have a lot of fun doing so!
What was it like when you first modeled, was it nerve wrecking, or exciting?

I can assure you it was a mix of both - I knew far less about anything I was doing! haha

What supermodel would you have love to work with?

It might be cliche to say but, Alessandra Ambrosio? Honestly it would be a privilege to work with any model THAT successful.
With your amazing looks and the perfect body to match, how do u maintain your looks and what do you do to look fantastic with your hard body?

I exercise consistently, eat healthy, and use plenty of moisturizers (thanks to my mom)!

What do u do to stay healthy and what workout do u do, please share with us?

Consistency with my diet, exercise, and really just an overall healthy lifestyle is my secret. I create a lot of different exercise programs that I do and love Muay Thai kickboxing.
What magazines do you read? Fashion? Sports? Playboy? Food network?
I read GQ, Esquire, SI, and maybe a few random guitar or surfing mags from time to time.

What music do you listen to when working out?

Whatever is motivating me at the moment - so always listening to different music based on my moods in the gym.

Do you workout everyday?

I take Sundays off, but I am so active that my normal day might be a total workout to someone who takes it easy LOL

Who are your favorite designers?

So many to list!! Some of my current favorites are John Varvatos (I love rock &roll), Dolce & Gabanna, Diesel, Fendi, Gucci, and Saint Laurent

Who are your least favorite designer?

Honestly I can always appreciate and respect the immense amount of artistic and creative talent that goes into being a designer. I don't have a least favorite, but designers occasionally make things in collections from time to time that leave you scratching your head ???? LOL
What designers do you wear?

John Varvatos, Diesel, Dolce & Gabanna, Fendi, BVLGARI, Gucci, and Saint Laurent
and go-tos like Levis, Dr Martens, Nike, Urban Outfitters, Zara, and H&M

What designers would you not wear?

It depends on what the piece looks like - I haven't boycotted any designers LOL
How do u keep up to date in fashion?

I guess just being in the fashion world you start to get a clue of how to adjust your personal style to changing trends.

What men's cologne do you wear?

BVLGARI MAN is my #1 for a while now, with Burberry                  Touch for 2nd place.

Are you a boxer or brief kind of guy?
