Simon Baker signs with Givenchy as the New  fragrance face!

Baker is the latest in a long line of link-ups between Hollywood's leading men and Paris's top design houses. Singer and actor Justin Timberlake is already a face of Givenchy's Play fragrance, while Brad Pitt is currently starring in an ad for Chanel No. 5.      

 Australian actor Simon Baker will be the new face of an upcoming Givenchy fragrance.

From spring 2013, the 43-year-old Australian, star of hit TV show The Mentalist,  will feature in a poster and TV campaign for the French luxury brand. 

"He has an aristocratic elegance and charisma," Thierry Maman, president of perfumes for the house, told French publication L'Express, "values associated with the brand since Hubert de Givenchy."

Givenchy was founded in 1952 by designer Hubert de Givenchy and is currently headed by Italian creative director Riccardo Tisci. The brand is owned by luxury giant LVMH. 

Baker has starred in the hit CBS TV show The Mentalist since 2008, playing "psychic" Patrick Jane in the crime drama and appeared in numerous blockbuster films.
