A Look Back: FIT's 2008 AAS Exhibition of Yves Saint Laurent

A look back of FIT's many AAS Exhibition, Yves Saint Laurent was the talk of the 2008 Exhibit. I had a fantastic time working with my mentors and idols; Steven Stipelman, and his fabulous muse..Sharon Rothman. While the Apparela rea was focusing on the inspiration of the French Icon, The Art Area specialization did an incredible work inspiring the St. Laurent of the future....and with Jusil Carrol who graduated at FIT 2008 was also the CFDA  winner for the Liz Claiborne in 2010 while she was attending the BFA program, and she also won the CFDA Fashion Week Scholarship from Supima Collection.
I worked closely with the amazing florial designer, Shelly Beach and created the mood of the exhibition with french music from Dimitri from Paris and created a scenery of the Effiel Towers, to give the Exhibit a French feeling with a touch Paris. The show was a seven days events that was successful!
Class of 2008, Jusil Carrol created an amazing group of designs  with class and style for the exhibit .
And if you not familiar with Yves Saint Laurent, check out this amazing fashion video I always inspire by the French designer who became my inspiration! You will understand why millions of people adores YSL!
